Preparation and aging

The Chita Single Grain is a grain whiskey that was launched in 2015 and is the evolution of Suntory's Chita Grain, which in 2009 was awarded at the World Whiskeys Awards.

The distillery that produces Chita Single Grain also produces the root for Suntory blends. They produce 3 different types of grain that belong to this new whiskey.

It is aged in three types of barrels. Wine barrels, Spanish oak barrels and American white oak barrels.

Tasting Note of The Chita Single Grain

• View: A bright gold color.
• Nose : Créme Brulé, hints of cardamom, acacia honey and blooming roses. Floral touches and fresh fruit. Soft and cool. Notes of banana, mango, lemon, pear, vanilla and caramel.
• Mouth: Soft and smooth. Hints of mint and honey. Clean and clear, spicy oak with subtle bittersweet notes.
