Elaboration

The base of the blend is Strathisla malt whiskey (meaty, dense, very marked by the aromas of Sherry wine oak) and grain whiskey .

Its origin dates back to 1953 when Queen Elizabeth II was crowned and this whiskey was made to commemorate it. One of the numerous awards it has is the best Scotch blended, awarded by the International Spirits Challenge.
