Vivanco Crianza 2020

Vivanco Crianza 2019 is a wine made from the Tempranillo grape variety.

Preparation and aging

Vineyards: Selection of vineyards from the Briones terroir, Rioja Alta, with an average age of between 15 and 20 years, cultivated in soils with a marked ferrous-clay profile. Harvest: Manual. All grapes remain in a cold room for 36 hours before processing on the selection table. The harvest began at the beginning of October. Preparation: After gentle crushing, the must is vatted by gravity in small French oak vats where it ferments and macerates in contact with the skins at a maximum controlled temperature of 28 °C, receiving light pumping over for 20 days. Fermentation: In small French oak vats.

Aging: 16 months in French and American oak barrels, with periodic racking and a minimum of 6 months in the bottle.
