Viña Tondonia Reserva 2011 , made with Tempranillo, Garnacha, Graciano and Mazuelo, is an extraordinary wine that is drunk alone, round, silky and elegant. An enjoyment.

The López de Heredia Winery, the oldest in Haro, was founded in 1877 and as if it were a wine cathedral, it is unfinished. In 1913 the Tondonia vineyard was planted, giving rise to its best-known product.

Preparation and aging

Viña Tondonia Reserva 2011 is a blend of Tempranillo (75%), Garnacha (15%), Graciano and Mazuelo (10%) varieties.

Aging in barrels: 6 years, subjected to 2 rackings per year. Clarified with fresh egg whites. Aging in bottle: The rest, bottled without filtering, in 75 and 37.5 cl bottles.
