Viña Albina Reserva 2019

Viña Albina Reserva 2019 is a red wine from the DO Rioja produced by Bodegas Riojanas.

Bodegas Riojanas treasures more than a century of winemaking tradition in its Cenicero winery. Its corners are steeped in history and tell us about the passion that has been experienced in it for the aging of its wines.

Preparation and aging

Viña Albina Reserva 2019 is made from the Tempranillo (80%), Mazuelo (15%) and Graciano (5%) varieties. The grapes come from vineyards in Cenicero, Sonsierra and Villalba de Rioja. Regarding its production, traditional winemaking is carried out. The grapes are selected, destemmed and crushed to undergo maceration and temperature-controlled fermentation.

After this process, Viña Albina Reserva spends 24 to 30 months in American oak barrels, with racking when appropriate. It rests in the bottle for 12 months before going on the market.

• Nose: Elegant on the nose, with balsamic aromas, red fruits, vanilla and spices, as well as nuances typical of aging.

Viña Albina Reserva is ideal to accompany red meats, vegetables, stews, mushrooms, fish in sauce and cured cheeses.
