Vermut Martínez Lacuesta Reserva
Description
Vermouth Martínez Lacuesta Reserva was created by Félix Martínez Lacuesta (Haro, 1873-1922), founder of the winery, and first president of the National Association of Viticulturists and Wine Industries of La Rioja.
Martínez Lacuesta started selling wines and soft drinks on Calle de la Vega, in Haro. Since then, the Martínez Lacuesta winery continues to belong, solely and exclusively, to this family.
Elaboration
Vermouth Martínez Lacuesta Reserva is made with a traditional and artisan system, using natural aromatic plants and herbs to cold macerate the base white wine, adding a brief period of aging and aging of 7 months in new French oak barrels from Allier with a medium toast. The result is this bitter, aromatic vermouth, with an intense color, with roasted bases and with that peculiar flavor that reminds us of traditional vermouth.
