Description
The Valduero 6 years 2014 is a grand reserve red wine with intense aromas of spices, a meaty touch and light toasted notes.
From the Valduero winery, a family winery that was created by Gregorio García Álvarez in 1984 in the small town of Gumiel de Mercado in Burgos, located in the heart of the Ribera del Duero, which is considered one of the most important wine regions in the world. .
Preparation and aging
The Valduero 6 years 2014 is made with grapes older than 35-40 years, harvested manually and after careful selection in the vineyard and in the winery, which gives this wine an extraordinary concentration of aromas and tannins.
Aged for 36 months in American, French, Hungarian and Romanian oak barrels, in the stillness of a cave 30 meters deep with artisanal racking at 12ºC and with 85% humidity. It ends with another 36 months of aging in the bottle.
