The company was founded by Don Julio González, who reportedly began examining the possibility of making his own Tequila in 1942. He established his distillery called La Primavera and spent almost forty years perfecting tequila into the spirit that now bears his name. .

Preparation and aging

Don Julio Blanco is made from Weber Tequilana agave grown in the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico. Tequila Don Julio Blanco is made with the finest agave and its traditional distillation process makes it the purest expression of tequila.

Don Julio Blanco Tequila is the base from which our other variants are derived. Commonly called "Silver" tequila, its defined agave flavor with citrus notes make it the essential component for a range of innovative drinks including the Margarita.
