Kraken Black Spiced Rum

Kraken Black Spiced is a rum made with a mixture of rums from the Caribbean.

The dark black color is inspired by the black of the mysterious ink with which, according to legend, the Kraken covered its prey. Kraken has been named a Hot Brand by Impact Magazine.

Preparation and aging

Kraken Black Spiced is distilled in steel stills in the Virgin Islands and fermented with sugar cane honey. It is then aged for 12 to 14 months in oak barrels. It is flavored with a recipe of aromatic ingredients (11 in total) among which cinnamon, ginger and cloves stand out. To achieve its deep dark color, caramel is added.
