Roda Reserva 2020

Roda Reserva 2020 is a wine made with the Tempranillo (90%), Garnacha (4%) and Graciano (6%) grape varieties.

The precursor of modern wines in Rioja, a wine that combines tradition in the care of grapes from old vines, with innovation in the processes within the winery, to achieve the best result.

Preparation and Aging

Roda Reserva 2020 is made with grapes from vines over 30 years old. Production of 1.5 kg/strain. Excellent expression of an Atlantic vintage that once again demonstrates that in difficult climatic years Roda continues to be on top.

Roda Reserva is a blend of Tempranillo, Garnacha and Graciano varieties. The grapes come from old vineyards that are more than 30 years old. For its preparation, an alcoholic fermentation was carried out in French oak vats.

The wine was then aged for 16 months in half-new, half-old French oak barrels. Finally, Roda Reserva has just been refined with a rest in the bottle for 20 months.

• View: Roda Reserva is a red wine with a medium layer, cherry red background, red rim.
• Nose: very well integrated wood, almost negligible. Very intense and fruity with sensations of red fruit in the cherry range, in the part of the pulp that sticks to the stone. Fresh and finely spiced. Feeling of cool weather and rain on the earth.
• Mouth: medium volume, with very fine, caressing tannins. Very fruity and fresh, clear notes of cherry. Long, persistent, very elegant and delicate. Retronasal route that recalls olfactory sensations. Magnificent sensation of freshness.
