Description

Raíces del Miño Cepas Autóctonas 2018 is a wine with Ribeiro Designation of Origin, made with Treixadura 54%, Albariño 24%, Godello 15% Loureira 7%

Preparation and aging

This wine achieves a perfect integration of the traditional Ribeiro strains with local character. The grapes come from vineyards grown in the typical orography of the place, worked in an artisanal way, in mineral soils.

Its fermentation is with native yeasts with an aging on lees for 22 months in Italian cocciopestos, made of fired cement from the Italian Marema that provide a careful evolution. This production process aims to reflect the vineyards where these grapes come from.

Tasting Note of Miño Roots Native Strains

  • View: straw yellow, limpid and bright.
  • Nose: The nose is pure harmony of the varieties that make it up. White fruits, aromatic plants, bay leaf, oregano and coriander stand out, without leaving aside a unique mineral character.
  • Mouth: The mouth is territorial, enveloping with its maturity and power. It is structured, unctuous and a faithful exponent of the tradition at its origin.

Pairing

Raíces del Miño Autochthonous Strains is ideal to accompany seafood, pasta with creamy sauce or fish, fish rice, white meats, fresh cheeses.

We recommend consuming it at a temperature between: 10-14º C.
