Preparation and aging

Viña Ardanza Reserva is a wine that has continued to evolve over the years without losing its well-known properties, with an elegant, intense bouquet and a long stay in the bottle that gives it a long aftertaste. Most of the Tempranillo grapes come from the Viña Ardanza estate, with 30-year-old vineyards, in the town of Fuenmayor, and the rest, a selection of their own vineyards also located in the Rioja Alta subzone. As for Grenache, it comes from the Rioja Baja subzone, from the municipalities of Ausejo and Tudelilla.

Aged for 36 months in American oak barrels of an average age of 3 years, with six manual rackings, and subsequently in the bottle until it is released to the market.

• View: Viña Ardanza Reserva has an intense cherry red color with a pinkish rim. Clean and bright.
• Nose: Good intensity of aromas, with pleasant toasted aromas combined with spicy notes and memories of ripe fruit. Rich and complex.
• Mouth: Fresh, balanced and light. Gently unctuous and velvety in the palate, it leaves fine sensations of red fruit. Round tannins and good acidity. Persistent finish.

Viña Ardanza Reserva is ideal to accompany red meats, roast lamb, vine shoot chops, game and smoked and cured cheeses.

It is recommended to consume at a temperature of between 17-18ºC.
