Moscatel Nº2 Victoria is a sweet wine made with Moscatel de Alejandría grapes.

Bodegas Jorge Ordoñez & Co was founded in 2004 between the Ordoñez family (Jorge Ordoñez, a renowned wine importer in the US) from Malaga and the Kracher family from Austria, along with a group of friends and businessmen from Malaga.

Preparation and aging

Moscatel Nº2 Victoria is a single-varietal Moscatel of Alexandria. The harvest is carried out manually in mid-August, when the grains are overripe. The bunches are classified one by one to choose those with the highest quality. After the selection process, the Muscat of Alexandria grapes rest under the sun for about two months, so that they obtain the highest concentration of sugars possible.

Fermentation is then carried out in stainless steel tanks, which is stopped by a drop in temperature when the alcohol level is already ideal.
