Marqués de Cáceres Reserva was selected in 2014 among the 100 best wines in the world by Wine Spectator, with 93 Best Buy points.

Marqués de Cáceres is one of the oldest wineries in Rioja, and one of the references that marks the authentic style of Rioja wines.

Preparation and aging

Marqués de Cáceres Reserva 2017 is made with the Tempranillo, Garnacha and Graciano grape varieties. The vineyards are between 25 and 35 years old. The harvest is carried out manually, once in the winery they are crushed and destemmed and undergo fermentation at a controlled temperature.

Maceration lasts 25 days with the skins. After this, it is aged for 20 months in French oak barrels, with racking every 6 months. Once bottled, it takes 2 years before being released to the market.

It is recommended to serve at a temperature of 17ºC.
