Malpaso 2022

Malpaso 2021 is a Crianza red wine, made with 100% Syrah grapes and with Méntrida designation of origin. It is made in the Canopy Wineries.

Canopy Wineries is a young winery focused on organic winegrowing, with a total of 19 hectares of vineyards.

Preparation and aging

Malpaso 2021 is a wine made with Syrah grapes that are harvested manually, fermented in whole clusters and yeasts in open oak fruits.

The wine is cold macerated which gives it a greater fruit load and undergoes alcoholic fermentation for 15 days at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. Malpaso 2016 remains in 500-liter French oak barrels for 12 months in new barrels (50%) and second wine barrels (50%).

The Malpaso 2021 red wine bottles are bottled unfiltered.

• Nose: Intense aroma with a background of black fruits and mineral notes.
• Mouth: Powerful flavor with fruity aromas, balanced and very tasty.

Pairing

Malpaso 2021 is ideal to accompany mushroom risottos, sautéed mushrooms or stewed meats.

It is advisable to consume this wine at a temperature of 16°C.
