Luis Cañas Crianza 2021, made with Tempranillo and some Garnacha, is, without a doubt, a wine with an extraordinary quality/price ratio.

In 1970 Luis Cañas founded the winery that bears his name, its objective being to produce the best harvest wines . In 1989 it passed into the hands of his son Juan Luis, who prioritized the production of quality aged wines.

Preparation and aging

Luis Cañas Crianza 2021 is made from the Tempranillo variety (95%) and a little Grenache (5%) that gives it a slightly more fruity character. The grapes used for Luis Cañas Crianza come from vineyards that are on average 30 years old. After being harvested, it ferments at a controlled temperature of 26º for 20 days.

Luis Cañas Crianza ages for 12 months in French (70%) and American (30%) oak barrels and finally rests for another 9 months in the bottle.
