Les Terrasses 2021

Les Terrasses 2020 is a vintage red wine and one of the classic wines from the Alvaro Palacios winery.

Founded in 1989 in the town of Gratallops, the Álvaro Palacios winery has 25 hectares of its own vineyards on slate slopes and terraces.

Preparation and aging

Les Terrasses 2020 is a blend of Cariñena, Garnacha, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah varieties. The grapes come from old vineyards from small farms in the area, all controlled by the winery. For its production, vinification is carried out in stainless steel, concrete and different wood tanks. In this way we try to extract the maximum expression of the grape and the terroir.

After vinification, Les Terrases is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, 20% of the barrels are new and 80% are used second and third year barrels.

• View: Les Terrasses has a cherry color with violet reflections.
• Nose: Good aromatic intensity, presence of red fruit with spicy and toasted notes. Slightly balsamic background.
• Mouth: Very fresh, silky and balanced. Creamy and unctuous in the palate, it leaves pleasant flavors of red fruit with mineral touches. Very good acidity. Long finish.
