The Trout 2023

La Trucha 2023 is a white wine made with Albariño grapes in the Rias Baixas DO. After the confiscation of Mendizábal, in 1837, the Alonso Anguiano Family acquired the property that gives its name to the Winery, Finca Garabelos.

Since then, from generation to generation, this family has taken care of the vineyards with care and dedication, as they are their legacy.

Preparation and aging

La Trucha 2023 is a non-aging white wine made entirely with Albariño grapes. The grapes used to make this wine are harvested manually and in 16 kilogram boxes, to preserve the quality as much as possible.

After being destemmed and pressed, fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats and cold to preserve the aroma. Finally, to conclude the process, the wine is kept on its lees for 3-6 months.

• View: The Trout has a straw yellow color with greenish traces, very clean and bright.
• Nose: The nose presents an intense aroma, where memories of fruits with flowers, peach, apricot, pineapple and jasmine intermingle with subtle notes of light aging on lees.
• Mouth: The palate is unctuous, sweet, pleasant and full of harmony, with an excellent aftertaste that lasts in the memory.

Trout is ideal to accompany all types of seafood, rice and fish. Service temperature 8º C.
