La Caña Albariño 2022

La Caña Albariño 2022 is a white wine made with 100% Albariño grapes and with the Rías Baixas Designation of Origin.

Made by Bodegas Laaña, from the Jorge Ordóñez group, a winery with the aim of producing a high-quality Albariño wine, with an elegant varietal expression and reflection of the terroir that surrounds its vineyards.

Preparation and aging

La Caña Albariño 2022 is a single varietal Albariño grape. Made by hand, with a selection of 12 plots of sandy soils. Manual harvest. Fermentation takes place with indigenous yeasts. 25% of the wine ferments in 500 and 600 liter French oak barrels. The rest ferments in stainless steel tanks.

In both cases, the wine rests for 8 months on its lees. Once the aging is finished, the two wines are blended and rested for a few weeks to round it off. Clarified and lightly filtered, this Albariño is finally bottled.

• View: Caña Albariño has a yellow color with greenish reflections.
• Nose: Aromas of lime zest, green apple, ginger and calcareous minerals, showing very good clarity.
• Palate: Bright and nervous on the palate, offering bitter citrus notes, quince flavors and a floral nuance.
