K-Naia 2023

K-Naia 2023 is a young white wine made with the Verdejo variety 85% and Sauvignon Blanc 15%. It shows us all the virtues of this blend, it is bright, refreshing and very friendly and simple in the mouth.

Bodegas Naia was founded in 2002 and is located in La Seca (Valladolid), considered the Grand Cru of Rueda, as it is home to some of the oldest vineyards in the DO.

Preparation and aging

K-Naia 2023 is made trying to respect as much as possible the qualities of the grapes obtained in the vineyard and enhance all its organoleptic qualities. The grapes for K-Naia white wine come from old vines planted at an altitude of between 700 and 800m.

Given their altitude, the vineyards are exposed to the conditions of a continental Mediterranean climate, with large thermal oscillations between day and night and variations of up to 50 degrees between winter and summer.

Stainless steel tanks and two 10,000 liter French oak vats are used. Aged in light and medium toasted French oak barrels between 1 and 3 years old.

• View: K-Naia has a straw yellow color with a greenish edge.
• Nose: Intense, with the complexity of grapes, fresh aromas of grass, white-fleshed fruit and colored pulp. Very pleasant and honeyed aromatic sensations that make it fragrant.
• Palate: Tasty entry, with an enveloping palate, full of freshness and with a slight final bitterness characteristic of Verdejo.

Pairing

K-Naia is ideal to accompany rice, fish, vegetable or mushroom quiche in general with all types of tapas or soft appetizers.
