Honoro Vera Garnacha 2023

Honoro Vera Garnacha 2023 is a young red wine. It was selected as one of the wines to be served at the 2013 Oscars dinner.

Bodegas Ateca is located in the town of the same name, in the province of Zaragoza, just 14 kilometers from Calatayud.

Preparation and aging

Honoro Vera Garnacha 2023 is a single-varietal made from the Garnacha variety. The grapes come from old vineyards planted on hills at an altitude of 700-1,000 meters above sea level, on soils of metamorphic rock and clay gravel. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks for 15 days, at a temperature no higher than 25ºC.

Once fermentation is complete, Honoro Vera remains for 2 months in French oak barrels.
