Guitián Godello 2023

Guitián Godello 2022 is a young white wine framed within the Valdeorras Denomination of Origin.

The A Tapada winery, better known as Guitián, is located in Ourense. Its owners made it possible for an almost unknown grape, Godello, to become world famous by winning all the gold medals in the competitions it entered.

Preparation and aging

Guitián Godello 2022 is made with Godello grapes from Bodegas A Tapada that is cooled with dry ice upon arrival at the facilities. Pressed very gently, it begins a brief maceration of a few hours and alcoholic fermentation. All vinification of Guitian Godello 2021 is carried out in stainless steel tanks.

Given the difficulty of that year's harvest, the winery decided to let the wine rest for 8 months with its lees in the tanks.
