White Muga flower 2018

Flor de Muga Blanco 2018 is made with the Viura, Garnacha Blanca and Maturana Blanca varieties in La Rioja.

Bodegas Muga is one of the most emblematic wineries in this region and began making wines in 1932.

Preparation and aging

Flor de Muga Blanco 2018 is made with the Viura, Garnacha Blanca and Maturana Blanca grape varieties. The vineyards are located on sandy loam (Maturana), calcareous clay (Garnacha Blanca) and calcareous and ferrous clay (Viura) soils.

The grapes are harvested by hand at their optimal moment, and transported to the winery in boxes, in refrigerated transport to maintain all their aroma.

After a brief maceration time in the press, the flower must is selected, which ferments at low temperature in oak barrels. After fermentation, the wine is kept on the lees for three months.

It is aged for 6 months in new French oak barrels.

It is kept for 18 months in the bottle for its refinement, refinement and roundness.
