Figuero 4 2022

Figuero 4 2022 is a young red wine from the DO Ribera del Duero made by García Figuero Winery and Vineyards.

García Figuero is the example of the experience of generations, of hard work and perseverance in the lands of the Ribera del Duero, whose wines are recognized today in more than 25 countries around the world.

Preparation and aging

Figuero 4 2022 is made from 100% Tempranillo, with an average age of between 15 and 20 years. The harvest was done manually, in 12 kilo baskets. Subsequently, a peculiar cold maceration was carried out for 2 to 3 days at 12ºC. The alcoholic fermentation was spontaneous and was carried out at a maximum temperature of 28ºC, with 2 daily pumping overs and 1 "délestage" at the end of the fermentation. After fermentation, a second maceration was carried out for 15 days.

The aging was done in new barrels (50%) and 1 wine: 75% American, 25% French.

• View : Figuero 4 has a cherry color with cardinal edges with good intensity. Clean, bright and with good presence.
• Nose : Complex and penetrating, very fruity at first with aromas of red and black fruits. Subtle woods and minerals.
• Mouth : Elegant, unctuous and fresh. Very good balance with soft tannins. Retronasal of red fruit. Persistent and pleasant.

Figuero 4 is ideal to accompany stews, deer, game and birds.
