Fernet Branca

Fernet Branca is a herbal liqueur from Italy. It is a digestive that was born in 1845 and whose formula has been transmitted from father to son.

Its creator was Bernardino Branca in 1845, in Milan, Italy. It is produced by Fratelli Branca Distillerie, which in 2018 was awarded the Liqueurs Producer of the Year distinction at the International Spirits Challenge, the most prestigious awards in the sector worldwide.

Elaboration

Fernet Branca is composed of 27 herbs from five continents: Aloe from South Africa, Rhubarb from China, Gentian from France, Galangal from India or Sri Lanka, Chamomile from Italy and Argentina. To these are added flowers, herbs, roots and plants with which alcoholic infusions, extracts and potions are produced that, properly mixed, generate the benefits of the product.

It is aged for at least a year in oak barrels.
