Stampede 2022

Estampida 2022 is a new concept from Rueda, with all the freshness of the Verdejo grape but with an elegant, soft touch, much less aggressive and more harmonious than the classic Rueda wines.

Along with the fresh flavors of fennel, tropical fruits and aniseed from Verdejo, this white wine offers surprising floral aromas that make it especially appealing.

Elaboration

The Estampida 2022 gives a twist to the Rueda wine concept. The grape, the protagonist of this white wine, is exhaustively controlled to harvest it at an exact point of maturity that allows the extraction of all its aromas, prioritizing quality over quantity. This means that the production is really scarce, but with superb quality. During the production process, the aim is to keep the fruit in perfect condition, using native yeasts to maintain in the wine the flavors that are detected in the vineyard, and thus increasing the smoothness and elegance in the glass.

• View: Estampida 2021 has a greenish-yellow color typical of Verdejo, with a lot of brightness
• Nose: In the still glass, the primary aromas of the Verdejo grape stand out: fennel, freshly cut grass, anise, bay leaf, tropical fruits,... As the wine opens, very subtle but surprising floral notes appear, very well harmonized, which give elegance and softness to the wine.
• Mouth: Fresh, with a very softened, long and persistent bitterness. In the aftertaste there are flavors of jasmine and white flowers. Intense and very balanced.

Pairing and Consumption Suggestions

The Estampida 2022 white wine is a complex wine, so in addition to pairing perfectly with tapas and appetizers, it can accompany a summer meal from start to finish. It combines perfectly with green salads, pasta or legumes, salads, rice and fish, as well as with all types of white and feather meats (chicken, woodcock, capon, duck).

It is advisable to serve at a temperature of 8ºC, in a Burgundy glass, and keep in a container with water and ice.
