El Coto Crianza 2019

Coto Crianza 2019 is a red wine made with 100% Tempranillo grapes, with the Rioja Designation of Origin.

Made by the Coto de Rioja winery, which was founded in 1970 in Oyón, Álava, becoming the first Spanish winery group to go public in 1997.

Preparation and aging

Coto Crianza 2019 is a single-varietal red wine made from Tempranillo grapes. The grapes ferment in the winery in vats of between 30 and 45 tons, where thanks to absolute control of the temperature, so that during the fermentation and maceration period they achieve their characteristic color, and a perfect structure and balance.

It has an aging process of 12 months in American oak barrels, and once bottled it is left to rest for at least 6 months.
