Disaronno Amaretto

Disaronno Amaretto is defined as the best Italian liqueur, and as the label on its bottle states, it has been made since the 16th century.

Amaretto originates from Saronno, a small town near Milan, Italy. Its secret production formula has not changed since 1525.

Elaboration

The word Amaretto comes from the Italian amaro, "bitter", due to the aftertaste in the mouth that makes the drink, unlike most liqueurs, much easier to drink, since it does not leave a sweet and cloying aftertaste.

Disaronno Amaretto is an almond liqueur macerated in wine alcohol. Its recipe has remained almost unchanged, and its packaging is appropriate for the prestige of this liquor. For its preparation, the essences of 17 herbs and fruits are used (a secret formula of the producer, which has remained intact over the years), which accompany its main ingredient, almond, macerated in wine alcohol. Other ingredients used in its recipe are: Apricot kernel oil with pure alcohol, caramelized sugar, vanilla and other herbs and fruits.

Disaronno is presented in an unmistakable square bottle from the 16th century.
