Cune Reserve 2018

Cune Reserva 2018 is a red wine from the DO La Rioja produced by the CVNE winery. A very elegant wine.

CVNE is a family winery founded in 1879 in the Riojan municipality of Haro. Currently, it is the fifth generation that runs the business of this company that has been listed on the stock market since 1997.

Preparation and aging

Cune Reserva 2018 is a blend of Tempranillo (85%) and Graciano, Garnacha and Mazuelo (15% between the three) varieties. Cune Reserva goes through an alcoholic fermentation that lasts about ten days. After this process, malolactic fermentation takes place.

It is aged in French and American oak barrels for at least 24 months. After the barrel rests in the cellar cellars for another year.

• View: Cune Reserva has a cherry color, garnet edge.
• Nose: The nose displays, with subtlety and elegance, delicate spicy notes (vanilla and cinnamon), toasted and smoked memories that give way to echoes of jammy red fruits with a pleasant balsamic finish of licorice and leather.
• Mouth: The palate is round, balanced and with great flavor. It develops noble and melted tannins that give it a pleasant step with good tactile sensations. Also, abundant notes of ripe fruit, which accompany pleasant reminiscences from oak aging. Complex and persistent finish, with spicy and fruity notes.

Pairing

Cune Reserva is ideal to accompany stews, mushrooms, beef, grilled lamb, cured and roasted cheeses. Recommended service temperature 17ºC.
