Circe 2023

Circe Verdejo 2022 is a young white wine made by the Avelino Vegas winery with Verdejo grapes in the Rueda DO.

The Avelino Vegas winery was created in 1950, belonging to the Rueda DO. In 1964, the first production of the Verdejo grape took place.

Preparation and aging

Circe Verdejo 2022 is a single-varietal Verdejo (100%) from old vines planted between 700 and 800 meters above sea level, in the municipal area of ​​the Segovian towns of Moraleja, Aldeanueva, Codorniz and Santiuste.

As for the production, after the manual harvest, a slight cold maceration and fermentation at low temperature (12ºC) are carried out. Finally, the wine finally rests on its fine lees, to achieve the unctuousness on the palate that characterizes it.
