Voll Damm Beer was born in the 19th century as a solution to the high temperatures of summer, introducing, starting in March, double the amount of malt so that the beer can withstand the high temperatures and carry out a correct fermentation without spoiling.

Elaboration

The first hops that Voll-Damm receives in the basement are bitter. Just before starting the fermentation process, a new hop is added that comes from the prestigious Bavarian region of Hallertau.

During cooking, hops from different varieties are added, Nugget, Magnum and Taurus, which are what divide the beer's peculiar bitterness. Furthermore, almost at the end of cooking, aromatic hops are added, which fill the beer with herbal, citrus and fruity aromatic notes, a process known as late-hopping.

Voll-Damm Tasting Notes

• View : Oak color with orange reflections. Bright beer with white, compact foam.
• Nose : First fruity notes of peach and ripe apple. Aromatic beer of great intensity.
• Mouth : Wide entry, with character. It is a voluminous and creamy beer, with a finish highlighted by the bitterness that provides freshness.

Consumption Recommendation

Serve between 6-8ºC.
