Estrella Galicia beer is the classic beer made by Hijos de Rivera, from a specific must that they produce in A Coruña. The Master Brewers spend approximately one month of work in the manufacture of Estrella Galicia Especial (25 cl. bottle), 50% of which is dedicated to cold storage.

Tasting Note

• View: Bright golden color.
• Nose: Aromatic beer with hints of the barley and malt from which it comes, with toasted notes and evocations of dried fruits.
• Palate: In the mouth it is a light and balanced beer, where the hop flavor is notably present.

Consumption Recommendation

You can accompany the beer with semi-cured or cured cheeses, also with fresh salads, fish cooked in a stew or with baked meat.

History

The origins of this classic Estrella Galicia beer date back to 1906, when José María Rivera Corral first founded the beer and ice factory, after his return from emigration to Mexico. A Coruña (Galicia) was the city chosen to establish the business investments that included beer manufacturing.

Today, Estrella Galicia is present throughout the national territory and in 35 different countries. Over the years it has evolved and grown in terms of developing new products, without forgetting its traditional techniques that have led them to be where they are.
