Bulleit Bourbon

Bulleit Bourbon is the story of the death and resurrection of a whiskey, a bourbon created in the 1800s and recovered just over three decades ago.

The Bulleit Distilling Company has reinvented this whiskey from an old family bourbon recipe.

Preparation and aging

Bulleit Bourbon is made using small batch techniques inspired by those first used by Augustus Bulleit over 150 years ago. Only the highest quality ingredients are used to make this whiskey . Bulleit Bourbon's subtlety and complexity come from its unique blend of rye, corn, and barley malt, along with some special types of yeast and pure filtered Kentucky water that provides the foundation for this bourbon's character. On the other hand, the charred American oak barrels provide it with a smoky body.

Due to its high rye content, Bulleit Bourbon has a bold and spicy character with a finish that is clean and smooth in a very distinctive way.

The best way to savor a Bulleit Rye is with a Rye Manhattan. This refreshing cocktail is prepared by mixing: 3 cl. of Bulleit Rye, 1.5 cl. of sweet Vermouth, 3 drops of Angostura bitters. To decorate add a cherry. Serve in a glass.
