It is a wine made from Bobal grapes, which has received an award at the AEPEV 2019 for Best Red from Spain 16/17 harvest and another at Premios Verema 2019 for Third Best Red from Spain.

Elaboration

The Bobal grape variety, with which the Bobos Casa Finca La Borracha 2020 wine is produced, comes from old low-production vines cultivated for more than 80 years. The first step is the selection of the best low-production grapes, and then they are destemmed and vatted in American oak barrels. In addition, they introduce a stainless steel plate inside the barrel to refrigerate the water and cold macerate at 8ºC. At the moment when fermentation begins, the cooling water is turned off to ensure that the barrel itself does not exceed 26ºC. After 12 days, the grapes are lightly pressed and the result is destined to age for at least 10 months in Allier French oak barrels.
