Avancia Godello 2023 is an exquisite white, an unquestionably winning bet for lovers of Godello.

Avancia is a project of the Jorge Ordoñez Group in the Galicia area, specifically within the Valdeorras DO. The distinguishing feature of Bodegas Avancia is the artisanal production using the native varieties of the area, Godello and Mencía.

Preparation and aging

Avancia Godello 2023 is a single varietal of the Godello variety. The grapes come from old 40-year-old vineyards planted on terraces on slopes at an average altitude of 500 meters above sea level. The soils are limestone soils with some granite, which gives the wine a very special minerality. The harvest is carried out manually, in small boxes that avoid any unwanted breakage before reaching the winery. Upon arrival at the winery, a selection of the best grapes is made.

Fermentation takes place in large 500-600 liter French oak barrels, where it is aged for 7 months.
