Arzuaga Crianza 2020 , made with Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon, seems to us to be a wine very attached to the terroir, fruity, sweet and round. Like every vintage, a great Crianza.

The Arzuaga Navarro Winery has been located in Quintanilla de Onísimo since the beginning of the 90s with an entrepreneurial character, sensitivity to aesthetics and a spirit of perfection.

Preparation and aging

Arzuaga Crianza 2020 is a blend of 95% Tinto Fino and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. The grapes come from their La Planta farm, 911 above sea level, and from another farm with centuries-old vineyards in Burgos.

These grapes are harvested by hand at their optimal point of ripeness in 15 kg boxes. The bunches pass through the selection table and are then destemmed, the grapes are vatted in stainless steel tanks, kept cold for a few days, with a slow alcoholic fermentation at about 27ºC.

After aging for 16 months in 60% French and 40% American oak barrels, this powerful and fruity wine is achieved, but with elegance and finesse.

Arzuaga Crianza is ideal to accompany meats such as cheeks or oxtail, complex stews with garnish, grilled red meats and roast suckling lamb.

It is advisable to consume this red wine at a temperature between 16 and 18ºC.
