Arienzo Crianza 2019

Arienzo Crianza 2018 is a red wine from the Rioja Designation of Origin, one of the winery's star wines.

Talking about the Marqués de Riscal winery means talking about prestige, innovation, non-conformity and quality. Values ​​that have always been united since 1858, the year of its foundation.

Preparation and aging

Arienzo Crianza 2018 is made almost exclusively from the Tempranillo variety (90%), to which small percentages of the Graciano (5%) and Mazuelo (5%) varieties are added as a complement. Regarding its production, traditional winemaking is carried out. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature.

Once the fermentation processes are completed, Arienzo Crianza spends about 18 months of aging in American oak barrels. Finally, after bottling, this red wine will spend a further 12 months aging in the bottle.

• View: Arienzo Crianza has a cherry red color with maroon touches.
• Nose: Aromas of wood, coconut and vanilla.
• Mouth: In the mouth, the alcohol is still there but it gives the sensation of more alcohol. Smooth entry, somewhat sweet, maintaining a certain acidity. The tannins are balanced. Red fruit with some spices. Short aftertaste.

Pairing

Arienzo Crianza is ideal to accompany grilled white and red meats, blue fish such as emperor and cured cheeses.

It is recommended to serve this red wine at a temperature of between 16-18ºC.

The wine is at its optimal moment of consumption but can evolve favorably if it is kept in optimal conditions for 2 or 3 more years.
