Description

Alfonso Oloroso Seco is a dry Oloroso wine made with Palomino grapes and with the Jerez Designation of Origin.

Made by the González Byass winery, which was founded in 1835 to produce fortified wines and brandies in the Marco de Jerez. They currently own 1,844 hectares of vineyards spread throughout Spain and produce 49 million bottles of brandy wines.

Preparation and aging

Alfonso Oloroso Seco is a dry Oloroso wine made in the DO Jerez. Made with the solera and criaderas method typical of the Marco de Jerez.

Oloroso wines are wines that, after resting and classification, add wine alcohol to carry out aging in barrels using the criaderas and soleras system, so that time and good work changes them until creating these wonders.

  • Nose: Intense aromas with hints of wood and dried fruits.
  • Mouth: On the palate it is tasty, harmonious and persistent, with hints of nuts and a soft touch of vanilla.

Alfonso Oloroso Seco is ideal as an aperitif and to accompany game and red meat.

It is recommended to serve at a temperature of between 10-13ºC.
