Alabaster 2020

Alabaster 2020 is a vintage wine made with 100% Tinta de Toro grapes and with the Toro designation of origin.

It is manufactured in the Teso la Monja winery, which was created by the Eguren brothers, who are also the owners of the emblematic Sierra Cantabria winery in La Rioja.

Preparation and aging

Alabaster 2020 is a red wine that It is made with Tinta de Toro. The grapes come from three low-yielding, pre-phylloxera vineyards. The harvest is carried out manually, carefully selecting the grapes. Once in the winery, the grapes are treaded in the traditional way.

Fermentation takes place in open tanks with gentle pumping over. Finally, it ages for 18 months in new French oak barrels.
