Aalto PS 2021

Aalto PS 2021 (Selected Payments), made with fine red wine, is a wine of the highest quality, almost collector's quality, a jewel from the Ribera del Duero.

In 1999 Mariano García started this project together with Javier Zaccagnini in the Ribera del Duero with the aim of producing a very high quality wine that reflects the diversity of terroirs in this DO.

Preparation and aging

Aalto PS 2021 is made with the 100% Tinto Fino variety. The vineyards in La Horra, La Aguilera and Fresnillo are selected, generally vineyards with an age that ranges between 80 and 100 years. Manual harvest in 15 kg boxes. and thoroughly inspected at the selection table. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in concrete, wood or stainless steel tanks depending on the vintage.

Aged for an average of 20 months in new French oak barrels.

• View: Aalto PS has a very intense purple color.
• Nose: The nose presents licorice, spices, graphite and tobacco, on very ripe tempranillo fruit.
• Palate: On the palate it is a spectacle, broad, fresh and elegant, with silky tannins and a powerful structure with perfectly integrated wood.

Aalto PS is ideal to accompany Iberian acorn-fed ham, feathered game, stews and roasts.
