12 Lunas Red 2020

12 Lunas Tinto 2020 is a wine made with the Cabernet Sauvignon (52%), Tempranillo (32%), Garnacha (13%) and Syrah (3%) grape varieties.

El Grillo y la Luna is a family project that was born in Barbastro, in the heart of Somontano, at the foot of the Pyrenees. The winery was founded in 2007 with the purpose of creating unique wines.

Preparation and aging

12 Lunas Tinto 2020 is made with Tempranillo, Shyra, Garnacha and Cabernet Sauvignon varieties. Once the grapes are harvested, they ferment in stainless steel tanks at a temperature of between 25-29°C. Maceration is 2-4 weeks depending on the variety.

Once the maceration is finished, they are aged for 9 months in 225-liter French oak barrels.
