The pink color of Bitter Kas has been the differentiating factor compared to other soft drinks. It is a non-alcoholic soft drink, which adults and children drink, it has a bitter point that gives way to the sweetness of most soft drinks but in a balanced way.

Elaboration

The drink is made from around twenty aromatic plants and herbs. Cinnamon, sandalwood and nutmeg are some of the ingredients in the drink. The bitterness, so peculiar and characteristic of the soft drink, is provided by the orange and the gentian - a medicinal plant. Much of its production formula remains a mystery.

Gentian is probably the ingredient that stimulates the appearance of appetite, making the soft drink the perfect companion for the aperitif.

History

The Kas brand was born in Vitoria in 1956 by businessman Roman Knörr Streiff. The idea to create this soft drink was imported from Italy, but they transformed the formula to adapt it to the Spanish market. It would not have been possible without the help of Doctor Hausmann, pharmacist, expert in medicinal plants and professor at the University of Barcelona.

Bitter Kas Pack 24 units 20cl. The current bottle has straight and smooth lines, reminiscent of pharmacopoeia containers, and is decorated with plant motifs inspired by the extracts of the multiple aromatic plants and fine herbs that are part of its secret formulation.
